Biography

A native of India, Dr. Kalagate attended medical school at the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in Karnataka, India, where she received several awards for securing the highest scores among her peers.

Dr. Kalagate relocated to the United States to complete her residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship training in Rheumatology at the Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. Between 2012 – 2014, Dr. Kalagate served as an Attending Physician at Einstein Medical Center in the Division of Rheumatology.

She is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. She has a special interest in lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis, and vasculitis. She also performs joint and soft-tissue injections.
